Fresh, fanciful and fun…I’ve died and gone to vintage wedding heaven! Origami cranes made from book pages…paper flowers and butterfly cutouts made from more old book pages. What more could a gal ask for when today’s featured wedding comes complete with “birds, books and blooms”? Oh yes, I know…two beautiful lovebirds, Angela and Phil. I love the vibrant pops of color from the flower arrangements and Angela’s choice of bridesmaid dresses – just the right touches to keep this wedding current while the bookish, dream-scape decor provides a healthy dose of whimsy. Enjoy!

The Ceremony
We wanted an outdoor ceremony and Addison Oaks provided the perfect setting for this. It was a picture perfect day and the ceremony was intimate and traditional, officiated by a local pastor. The beautiful natural surroundings provided the perfect backdrop.
The Reception
We had a great time at our reception and guests from our wedding still rave about our food, DJ, and photo booth. We had a buffet dinner, traditional dances, a slide show and cake cutting. We also had a photo booth that everyone loved. The feel for the wedding was fanciful with birds, books, and blooms. We made hundreds of origami cranes out of book pages which sat at each place setting. My sister also made beautiful paper flowers and butterfly cutouts with old book pages. We also decorated the reception area with engagement photos in frames and our parent’s wedding photos.
Angela’s Dress Search
I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted when I first started my dress search, but it was one of the first few I tried on. I loved the way I felt as soon as I put it on and loved the lace and floral detail.
How Angela Felt in Her Wedding Dress
Beautiful, elegant and fanciful.
Why Angela Decided To Sell Her Wedding Dress
I absolutely love my dress and felt like a princess while wearing it!! Instead of having it just sit in my closet; I would love for another bride to feel just as beautiful on their wedding day!
