Real Wedding | Andria & Matt

I love the look of this wedding.  The crystals and orchids create a completely beautiful – and different – look. And it is used in both the ceremony and reception unifying both parts of the wedding. And the purple adds a modern and glamourous touch.

How he proposed
He got down on one knee and proposed in our bedroom after a normal day. I like things simple and sweet and it was perfect!

The ceremony
We were married on a bridge under a canopy made out of birch trees. The aisles were lined with glass cylinders with floating candles, orchids and crystals. The ceremony took place as the sun set.

The reception
The reception was inside a old train museum. I wanted a elegant feel to the modern space, so I hung crystal chandeliers and curtains from the ceiling. I made all my centerpieces by spraying manzanita trees a metallic champagne color and hung crystals and orchids from them. I had custom velvet damask overlays made to go over the table cloths. I also made the menus and name card out of tree branches. We had a photo booth which everyone loved. It was the day before halloween so we had hats and glasses for people to wear in the photo booth. We had a dj and danced the night away!

The moment Andria will never forget
My first dance, it felt like we were the only people in the room.

The wedding’s theme
The theme was old world elegant, I took the colors and idea from my dress. My dress had lots of crystals and a metallic look.

What made her wedding dress “The One”
I tried on about six dresses. I had the picture of my dress torn out of a magazine for a couple years. I knew it was it when I tried it on.

Her advice for other brides
My advice for brides is do what makes you happy. You can’t please everyone. Go with your gut!
