Andrea and Porter planned an intimate celebration with family and friends at one of their favorite winter destinations. They perfectly captured the spirit of their amazing locale with little details like her winter white bouquet, rustic farmhouse tables and natural wood accents. Congratulations to this beautiful couple!

How they met
We met 5 years ago while living in NYC. We share a love for the mountains and skiing, so when the opportunity presented itself for us to live in Park City, Utah we made the move. Now that we are living in our nation’s Capital, a winter wedding in Utah was the perfect reason to return.
The ceremony
The event took place in the Rehearsal Hall at Sundance Resort where we were joined by 35 family and friends. With our ties to both NYC and Utah, it was important that the wedding be sophisticated, yet intimate and personal. The decor was modern, but inspired by nature and the Wasatch Mountains. The alter looked out over a snowy pond and waterfall and provided a picturesque setting for a late afternoon wedding.
The reception
Rustic wooden farm tables were lined with grey linen runners and decorated with small glass vases wrapped in aspen bark with white ranunculus, ivory peonies, white tulips, and accented with silvery lamb sear, soft speckled sparrow feathers, and organic cotton blooms. White aspen and pine trees were placed throughout the space and adorned with white lights and suspended glass votives. In lieu of a book, guests were asked to sign a pair of wooden vintage skis.

Why Andrea decided to sell her wedding dress
I am a now a sustainability consultant and my work focuses specifically on implementing recycling and reuse programs in developing cities around the world. There is no better way for me to practice what I believe in than to give someone else the opportunity to wear this beautiful dress.
