New Year…New Beginnings…and a new life together. What could be more perfect or more festive than a New Year’s Eve wedding? Ali and Ryan were married in a lovely and meaningful ceremony in front of friends and family, then celebrated with a rockin’ New Year’s Eve party. I love all the fun details they added like party hats, sunglasses and the fun photo booth. If you like a great party…you’re going to love today’s Real Wedding!

The ceremony
It was the highlight for all of our guests. It was set in the atrium level of Montgomery Park filled with a room full of lit trees and a canopy of twinkle lights. We had a jazz band playing when guests arrived and the processional was to the Beatles “All You Need is Love”. My Dad and I made a grand entrance down the escalator and my amazing brother in law was the officiant. He had people laughing and crying all at the same time. It was perfect!
The reception
Since our wedding was on New Year’s Eve we wanted the reception to be a great mix of wedding and New Year’s Eve fun. Tables were decorated with candelabras and the room was lined with 15 foot birch trees decorated with twinkle lights. We had a local photo booth company, Paparazzi, that really started the party and lots of surprises after that including a choreographed dance by me and 20 of my girlfriends (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VD41UbPLX2I), karaoke, New Year’s party favors, candy cigarettes and shutter shades for everyone. It was a great way to ring in the New Year!

Elegant, beautiful, myself.
Why Ali decided to sell her wedding dress
This dress is meant to be worn more than once – I want someone else to enjoy it as much as I did.
