Real Wedding | Alana + Marc

A spectacular glass enclosed terrace was the unique setting for Alana and Marc’s sophisticated Seattle wedding. Soft lighting highlighted the dramatic black, white and red color scheme at the reception. Alana’s dress was elegant and dramatic as well. I love the fun tulle skirt and the way Alana made the dress her own with a fabulous jeweled belt at the waist. Simply stunning!

The ceremony

We had our wedding in a glass enclosed terrace in the middle of Seattle with the city visible around us.  With candles and soft lighting, it was incredibly romantic. We wanted the ceremony to be personal, so we wrote our own vows and in our readings included the poem that Marc read to me as he proposed – “Wedlock” by DH Lawrence.  It was simple, beautiful and intimate.

The reception

We wanted to have a party where everyone had a good time!  It was a winter wedding and I didn’t want to have too many flowers so we used iron trees strung with crystals and candles for some of the centerpieces, the effect was magical.

How Alana felt in her wedding dress

Glamorous, romantic and beautiful!

Why Alana decided to sell her wedding dress

I love the dress, but I have my husband to take away from the wedding. I was so excited to try it on before the wedding and feel transformed- somebody else should get a chance to wear this gorgeous dress.
