After warming up with hot chocolate and espresso at Kava Cafe, Saskia and Andrew braved the cold January weather to explore The Highline with YL Photography for their vibrant NYC engagement session! They’ll be moving to Germany this year, so they wanted a city engagement session to help them remember the moments they’ve shared in the U.S.
Saskia and Andrew’s story: It was the day when Saskia finished her exam and Andrew just completed his last German class. They decided to celebrate with a dinner in the city. Little did Saskia know, their friends were hard at work decorating their apartment with all things romantic. When they came back home, Saskia saw the beautiful sight in front of her. She was shocked, and thought it was a bit much for the academic celebration (since Andrew is very romantic and likes to surprise her). It wasn’t until she turned around and saw him on his knee did she realize that this is a celebration that marks the beginning of their lives together.
