Pearl + Matthew’s wedding in San Diego is so beautiful and glamorous! It’s all about the gorgeous light and incredible wardrobe, right?! I love the vaulted ceilings that continue from the ceremony to their reception at the San Diego Museum of Art, and it’s magic that the guests got the opportunity to explore the galleries during cocktail hour. I would love the get dressed up to take in the museum’s master pieces and at the same time experience the premiere event: Pearl + Matthew’s celebration of life and love together. So special, enjoy!

The Ceremony
Matt and I were married Memorial Day weekend at the First United Methodist Church in San Diego. This weekend marks several milestones in our relationship starting with our first date, the day Matt proposed and ultimately our wedding. Getting married here was important to me because San Diego is my home and my family has belonged to the church since I was a little girl.
The Reception
We held our reception at the San Diego Museum of Art. Matt and I knew we wanted a unique venue and experience for our family and friends. The museum offered our guests a chance to explore the galleries during the cocktail hour and for dinner and dancing the party moved to the outdoor sculpture garden.
Pearl’s Dress Search
I initially started my dress search looking for very fitted silhouettes. I thought since I was petite, a ball gown would overwhelm me, but this was the style I ended up buying. The dress I purchased was featured in an advertisement in a bridal magazine and when I first put it on I fell in love with the dress.

Why Pearl Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
I decided to sell my dress because I love my gown and would like someone else to enjoy it as well.
