Let the sun shine in! Pauline and Saul’s sunny wedding will have you feeling that California love. The handheld chuppah, little lace dresses for the bridesmaids and a romantic candlelit reception will give you the warm fuzzies. Maybe that’s just us, though. We’re totally swooning over this one.

The Ceremony
Our ceremony was at Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook in Los Angeles, a state park. We had a small outdoor ceremony – guests sat on blankets and pillows “picnic” style. We wrote our own vows. For both of us, our favorite things was not only being able to share and hear what the other person had to say, but doing so in front of our friends and family. Neither of us tends to pour our heart out in front of our parents or siblings so, while our friends regularly see how much love there is between us, for our family this was a glimpse into the man and woman we have become and how we support, love, and laugh with one another.
The Reception
We hosted dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Ado, in Venice. It was completely lit by candles – no electric lights. No cake and no dancing – just good wine, amazing food and some wonderful toasts.
Pauline’s Dress Search
I tried on 20-30 dresses – this one just felt right – and it didn’t hurt that everyone else in the boutique was “oooing” and “aahhing” over it!
How Pauline Felt in Her Wedding Dress
Graceful, comfortable, special
Why Pauline Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
It’s so gorgeous– I’d rather have someone else make beautiful memories in it than have it sit in my closet collecting dust.
