Paola + Guillermo’s evening black-tie wedding in Monterrey, Mexico was a wonderfully classic and formal affair. Paola looks beautiful in her Monique Lhuillier, Confection wedding dress, complete with ivory re-embroidered Chantilly lace and full tulle skirt. We love all of the elegant evening attire of the wedding guests – it captures such a brilliant sense of celebration and highlights how fanciful a wedding day can be. Enjoy!

The Ceremony
Our wedding day was the perfect day in Monterrey Mexico, not to hot or too cold. We had two ceremonies, a church ceremony and a civil ceremony. The civil wedding was held at Club Campestre Monterrey, Mexico, it was simple and elegant. We served olives, chocolates and champagne for toasts. The religious wedding took place in the evening. It was beautifully decorated with white roses and candle light – it was perfect.
The Reception
For our reception we had dimmed lighting, romantic music and beautiful flower arrangements displayed in tall glass vases. As our guests entered we served mojito and pina colada ice popsicles. People loved them! We had a cocktail hour with fine cheeses and fruit, a lovely dinner and lots of dancing!
Paola’s Dress Search
I tried on about 30 dresses. I chose Monique Lhuillier’s wedding dress called Confection because it was so beautiful. The gown is made of silk organza and it made me feel like a princess! The fabric is so soft and light that I danced all night without feeling tired or weighed down.

Beautiful, loved, like a princess
Why Paola Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
I would prefer if someone uses my dress since it is so beautiful and it does not deserve to be in a box. I hope this dress makes someone else look and feel as beautiful as I did that day.
