Old World Charm With A Modern Twist

From Beatrice, the photographer:
The beauty of design is that inspiration can be drawn from anywhere: a single source, a tone, a pattern, a location, or a theme -to name a few. Our inspiration for this bridal shoot was drawn from a color which proved to be the foundation of our entire design.

Our setting was a tea garden in a old town suburb, surrounded by hundred year old trees lining the street, with beautiful plaster walls tinted with a blush hue. Inspired by our plaster walls and the three dimensional floral appliqué of the gown, we sought to capture this Bridal Editorial in true romantic fashion. Though details were kept to a minimum, we used traditional elements such as lush english garden roses, organic hand-made paper, soft silk ribbon, and the prettiest lace shoes to tie together this ultra feminine inspiration.

In keeping with the femininity of the aesthetic of this bride, we also captured her in the softest shade of a blush tulle skirt and matching veil. It was topped it off with ferns and blooms to bring our villa garden concept to life. For the bride who loves old world charm, with a twist of modernism!
