Monica + Tim | Rivini Wedding from Paul Barnett Photography

Playful, fun with just a touch of vintage, bohemian flare…Monica + Tim’s Ranchos Santa Fe wedding is stunning! I love the use of succulents, the ornamental plant, for the bridal bouquet and floral arrangements.  The thick cacti-like leaves in combination with the succulents’ muted colors is such a refreshing choice for a September wedding.  And I am such a fan of all the candles! But my favorite is how it all comes into focus with Monica in her Rivini silk and organza dress with the most inviting ruffles at the bottom, modern with just a hint of vintage…perfect!

The Ceremony + Reception
Our ceremony was very intimate with 3 and 4 seats in a row and than people on the side. It was an outside garden catholic ceremony. We had a solo guitarist and candles and white petals lining the aisles with chiavari chairs and floral accents everywhere. We had an outdoor-tented reception with a blue palette and blankets of candles everywhere.

Monica’s Dress Search
I saw my dress in a magazine I was in for my business Pure Barre Newport Beach. I was flipping through and wasn’t even engaged yet and saw it and thought it was so cool. It was modern and sexy yet had that girlie feel that you wanted when you were little. It wrapped the multiple personalities of me into one dress. It was the 2nd dress I tried on and my girlfriends wouldn’t let me try anything else on. When I tried it on for my parents my dad got all teary and my mom couldn’t stop smiling. So I knew it was the one.

Sexy, Beautiful and Fun.

Why Monica Decided To Sell Her Wedding Dress
We live in a very small house and we just got our offer accepted to buy a house. We are trying to make cuts and I thought selling my dress so I can move onto the next chapter of my life would be a great idea. I would love to wear it again but really…where would I wear it? I felt so amazing in it and it was the best day of my life so far but its unrealistic to have it in the closet when I can sell it to help make another girl feel beautiful in it.
