Whimsically Modern Winter Wedding Inspiration Featuring Deep Blues and Purples

“We created this wedding inspiration for the modern bride and groom who has a minimal and refined taste. When I brought up the idea of pulling in modern and whimsical styles together for a winter styled shoot, Kerri of Rogue Florist instantly brought up callicarpa berries. Our entire mood board went from cool pastel colors to bold, daring colors. She worked with beautiful winter hues for the florals, mixing in simple and elegant ingredients such as anthuriums, white anemones, and bleached ruscus. Fern and Moon paired clean modern styles to contrast with the natural elements — their famous satin high-low skirt gave our bride a chic, sophisticated Audrey Hepburn inspired look, complimenting the groom’s white shawl tuxedo for an overall classic look. The elements that we brought in together really brought the design and planning in full circle. We were beyond pleased to be able to exceed our expectations — to inspire the modern and refined bride and groom.”
