Calling all brides planning to elope – Michelle + Andrew’s, seven guest elopement wedding is an absolute gem! Rustic charm, with nuptials in a spacious restored barn…I’m in love with the simplicity and elegance of today’s featured wedding. The bride and groom were planning an outdoor ceremony, but rain moved the I Do’s indoors and it ended up looking perfect…twinkle lights draped from wood beams, storm lantern style vases with candles, off-white rose pedals and light beaming in from an open barn door. So romantic! Don’t miss Michelle’s beautiful Katie May gown, Santorini, complete with rouched detailing on the straps and neckline, sheer draped chiffon skirt panels, eyelash scallop trim, and Chantilly lace. Enjoy!

The Ceremony
We selected our wedding date three and a half weeks before getting married. We had an “elopement-ish” wedding with just seven guests. We were married at Greengate Ranch, which we saw in person for the first time the night before our wedding. We were planning an outdoor ceremony, but due to heavy rain that weekend we ended up getting married inside their restored barn. We had to go with the flow and it turned out beautiful.
The Reception
We didn’t actually have a reception, but we did have a gorgeous dinner at the Granada Hotel and Bistro in San Luis Obispo.
Michelle’s Dress Search
I don’t know how many dresses I tried on before selecting my Katie May gown, but it sure felt like too many. I chose my dress because it was unlike any other dress I tried on. It was unique and elegant with just a touch of sexy. I LOVE my dress!

Why Michelle Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
While I would love to keep my dress I decided to sell it to help with expenses for our home remodel.
