The simplicity of an oceanside wedding ceremony combined with a modern ballroom reception make Melissa and Gio’s wedding at Loews Don CeSar in St. Pete Beach elegant and memorable. Melissa’s sleek Ines Di Santo gown fit in perfectly at both ceremony and reception. Not only did it complement the bold black and white wedding palette, but also the gorgeous nature infused ceremony which included a rainbow…such a lovely wedding surprise!
Melissa + Gio | May 4, 2013 | St. Pete Beach, Florida | Dress Listing: Ines Di Santo, Salue
The Ceremony
We had a GORGEOUS sunset ceremony on the beach that ended with a huge rainbow in the sky!
The Reception
We had our cocktail reception and reception in the King Charles Ballroom at the Loews Don CeSar. It was a gorgeous room with huge chandeliers and open windows overlooking the expansive coast. It was pure perfection.
Melissa’s Dress Search
I knew from the start that I wanted an Ines Di Santo dress. I was really hoping to feel thin in the wedding dress I chose and I felt like every Ines Di Santo dress I tried on was so forgiving in all the right places 🙂 She’s an amazing designer that really focuses on flaunting your figure no matter if you’re big, small, short, or tall.
How Melissa Felt in Her Wedding Dress
I felt so beautiful and classy in my dress but also a little bit sexy. Which is what I wanted for our outdoor beach wedding!
Why Melissa Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
Honestly, I decided to sell my wedding dress because I am an aspiring photographer and I really, really want a new lens (the 70-200mm). Photography is an expensive hobby and as much as I would like to keep my wedding dress forever, I would eventually like to take other people’s wedding pictures with the money I get from this dress! It wasn’t an easy decision.
