Living in Atlanta, I’ve been fortunate enough to collaborate on quite a few events with Ashley Meaders and Our Labor of Love, who also happen to be part of The Flashdance. When I got wind from them that the whole Flashdance crew was getting together to produce Max and Margaux’s wedding, I knew it was going to be an epic celebration. Well, the images are in and I’m crazy excited about the opportunity to share their wedding with you today on Once Wed. Be sure to check back all day because we have 5 posts jam packed with the most adorable, charming, sweet wedding you’ve ever laid eyes upon. Yep, it’s really that wonderful…
for a while, we thought we were going to elope. we’re pretty private people and the idea of getting married in front of a lot of people made our stomachs queasy. but we came to the realization (as most do) that it was important to celebrate with our close friends and family. so, instead of eloping, we decided to break our wedding up into 2 days and do things our own way. we got married on a friday night in front of our families and closest friends, followed by a casual dinner full of beautiful toasts and laughter. it was intimate enough that we were able to manage our nerves and we just felt so much love throughout the entire night. on saturday, we had a big party in a family friend’s backyard.
