Urban-glam meets crystal + lace chic…Marina + Arseniy’s New York nuptials in Bryant Park were romantic and totally glamorous. I am in love with Marina’s Oscar de la Renta white tulle strapless ball gown, featuring satin organza embroidery. Like something from a fairy-tale, the train of this gown is a work of art. And let’s talk about Marina’s shoes and accessories?! Decorated from head to toe in crystals completely elevates Marina’s lace look to that of a whimsical princess bride. I mean, wow! Congrats to the happy couple and thank you for sharing Marina + Arseniy!

The Ceremony
We had a beautiful rooftop traditional Jewish ceremony; united under a crystal chuppah overlooking Bryant Park during a summer sunset. We were surrounded by family and loved ones so it was a truly magical moment. The chuppah was made to match my dress and jewelry and a beautiful vintage lace hung over our heads as we held hands and became man and wife. The weather that night was splendid and the view of Bryant park was breathtaking after sunset.
The Reception
Fun, loud and full of love is the best way to describe the vibe that day. We had quite an audience in the park, with over 50 people trying to view the party through the windows of Bryant Park Grill. The reception felt intimate yet extremely exciting and full of energy, the ambiance was unforgettable. The large glass windows of the restaurant facing the park made us forget we were in the middle of one of the busiest streets of Manhattan and took us to a private evergreen summer garden. The dance floor was packed all night and the drinks kept pouring. We had great entertainment and kept the guests on their feet all night. We realized how fortunate we are to have such a wonderful family and such great friends that came out from all over the country to come and join us for our special day. The wedding felt like one big happy family.
Marina’s Dress Search
I didn’t have an exact dress in mind but I knew that I wanted a modern version of Grace Kelly meets Daisy from the Great Gatsby. Some old Hollywood glamor and decadence with modern flair. After much research I finally found the designer and style number I felt best captured these qualities. It also took me quite a while to find the perfect headpiece and I couldn’t be happier once I did. Looking back at the wedding I wouldn’t change a thing and still get excited to look at all the pictures over and over.
How Marina Felt in Her Wedding Dress
Best day ever! I was the happiest girl in the world and I didn’t want the day to end. It finally hit me that I was marrying my best friend and that’s pretty darn cool!
Why Marina Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
Although I would love to wear this dress everyday, we all know that a large beautiful dress just takes up too much room in a small NY closet. And also I want to share this beautiful lace masterpiece with another beautiful bride to be so it could bring them long lasting memories.
