This is a remarkable wedding that comes to us from Guayaquil, Ecuador…truly, Mariella + Andres look like royalty amidst their fairy-tale feast and French palace, Marie Antoinette inspired decor! I am always in awe of the lucky brides that get to fulfill a lifelong dream of a princess wedding wearing a sparkling tiara and a cathedral length train. And what a treat to share I Do’s with your own prince charming in an Elie Saab couture gown called, Aglaya – the ultimate princess gown made from layers of embroidered tulle, delicate beadwork and tiny floral applique, capped sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. Just exquisite, enjoy!

The Ceremony + Reception
Our ceremony took place at José María Escriva de Belaguer Church. After the ceremony, the guests were escorted to the salon into a white-on-white ethereal tent. The room was transformed into romantic French palace. Round tables were set for a fairytale feast. I worked with the floral designer for months to create a Maria Antoinette styled wedding. The room looked like a princess party of all-white flowers: lilies, hydrangeas, orchids, ranunculus, roses and gardenias. The centerpieces included ceramic topiaries filled with lush bouquets of white roses, hydrangeas and pearls. It was also full of crystal candelabras, topped with masses of blooms and white pillar candles. The dessert table was decorated with a 2mts cake specially made to match up the decoration, surrounded by 10, 000 mini deserts, including little wedding cakes. It was truly a princess wedding.
Mariella’s Dress Search
I saw the Elie Saab fashion show and it was love at first sight, it was the princess dress I dreamed of ever since I was a little girl. So I ordered it without even trying it on, and I was pleasantly surprised, it was even more beautiful in person.
