Marian and Andrew were married in Cancun, their vows surrounded by glorious oceanviews from an all-glass chapel. What a way to start a marriage! The palette of sea foam green and tangerine reflected the casual beachy feel this couple were going for, and was seen in the floral arrangements, stationery and even custom Converse. An al fresco reception kept going until the wee hours led by a live Mariachi band and fun rock n roll props. What a fiesta!

The Ceremony
It was a beautiful Catholic ceremony at one of the few oceanfront chapels in Cancun, you can’t beat the view of this place. It was perfect for us because I really wanted to have a beach wedding without the discomfort of walking down the aisle on the sand, allowing me and my guest to wear fabulous shoes but looking over to the ocean. It has glass walls which was also perfect in case we experience uncooperative weather. The flowers were gorgeous complimenting the setting. It was SO emotional, lots of happy tears and lots of LOVE!!!
The Reception
70+ guests for a destination wedding sounds like a great party, and it was. Oceanview gazebo, a lit dance floor, contrasting colors (aqua/tangerine) for all table settings. DJ and Mariachi to keep everyone dancing. We were so happy to have our friends and family traveling from all over the world.

I tried on about 10 dresses and I finally fell in love with the Jim Hjelm because I love how it made me feel. The bodice details reminded me of sea shells and the bottom feels like waves so it was perfect for the beach wedding. A little puffy and princess-like, but not too heavy for the weather.

It would be great to keep it with the hope that someone later on will wear it but I believe dress shopping is a beautiful part of the process and all brides deserve that experience so I couldn’t imagine anyone would want to pass on buying a beautiful dress for that very special day.
