A touch of lace, pastel colors and a gorgeous Hayley Paige wedding dress completed the vintage look Maira and David were after for their wedding. Following the ceremony with an ocean view, guests moved to the elegant ballroom decorated with burlap, mismatched chairs and touches of baby’s breath and long low florals that softened the space. So romantic!

The Ceremony
We could not choose better place for our half-Brazilian and half-American wedding than the Grove Isle Hotel & Spa in Miami. The hotel was located in a private isle with a gorgeous outside area surrounded by the water. The intimate ceremony was in front of the ocean decorated by a vintage arch and flowers, witnessed by 75 guests.
The Reception
The cocktail hour was also outside, in an area called Ship Deck were the guest could enjoy the drinks with a beautiful view. The reception was in the hotel’s ballroom where we brought a vintage look in, trying to keep it simple but with very special details for a waterside wedding.
Maira’s Dress Search
From the first time I tried this dress on I knew it was the one. I was a little skeptical at first, so I tried a few more on in other boutiques, but then I returned to the “Carrie Dress”.
I chose this dress simply because it is the perfect combination of a romantic, vintage and chic. Being a designer myself, I didn’t want to wear something other brides might. This dress is the perfect fit for the new standard of brides who want to have a touch of modern to their romance.

Why Maira Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
I had so much happiness in the day I wore that dress and I believe happiness is worth more when you share it! So I want the next bride who will wear it to feel the same way I felt and be unforgettable for our generation because this is our moment and no one else’s!
