Oh yes…Jenny Packham‘s dress Aspen. The gown that evokes eloquence, with its flowing sheath style that pays tribute to the art deco era with the silhouette of a Greek goddess…I love how Aspen can become the perfect dress for a Gatsby inspired wedding day or more importantly for Lynda + Mitch’s garden wedding this gown illuminates today’s featured bride as an oh so feminine and almost fairy-like beauty. Absolute perfection, enjoy!

The Ceremony
The ceremony took place in the historic bed and breakfast’s gardens surrounded by lush Floridian foliage. The weather was perfect, with plenty of sunshine and cool, dry air. The groom’s uncle officiated the wedding with a mixture of feeling and humor, the latter helping the bride and groom relax and enjoy! As the sun set, the garden twinkle lights came on, adding to the magical ambiance of the night.
The Reception
The reception transition flawlessly into the McKenzie Hall just across the ceremony gardens. A cocktail reception entertained guests on the patio while they could easily view family portraits taking place in the gardens. Then the twinkle lights ambiance carried into the reception hall, where tall ceilings and white brick walls were accented by southern historical architectural elements. After the dinner was served by the in-house catering, the toasts were made and cake was cut, the house lights were turned off, leaving only the twinkle lights to set the mode on the dance floor. And the guests celebrated together until they went to enjoy their rooms in the inn.
Lynda’s Dress Search
I went into the quaint vintage boutique, Kelly’s Closet in the lovely Chandler Park located in Atlanta, GA, knowing I was in love with designer Jenny Packham. I brought my parents along and they encouraged me to try on several kinds of dresses, approx. 10 dresses. However, I ended up easily choosing Jenny Packham’s, Aspen. I was looking for something that was unique and special. Not the typical wedding dress. Aspen was delicate, intricate vintage. Another must have for me was comfort. I wanted to feel comfortable in my dress to enjoy the whole day. Aspen was so light and airy, it felt like wearing a night gown!

Why Lynda Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
I felt so amazing in my dress on my wedding day, I want to pass that along for another bride to enjoy. Also, a main theme of my wedding was vintage, or reuse, re-purpose, recycle, so selling my dress allows another bride to reuse it and in a way, recycle it!
