Doesn’t it look like Leslie and Martin’s wedding was in some secret, tropical hotspot? And while their wedding wasn’t far off as it was held in Miami, it’s the little touches that really take us away when we look at these photos. From Leslie’s striking bouquet to their orchid and driftwood wedding pergola overlooking Biscayne Bay, this wedding took glam beach style to the next level.
Leslie + Martin | March 2, 2013 | Miami, Florida | Dress Listing: Rivini, Rosalie
The Ceremony
We did a non-religious ceremony but mixed elements from both of our religions/cultures. We incorporated both Catholic and Jewish elements. I said my vows in Spanish and Martin said his in English. It was very intimate.
The Reception
When we saw the spectacular Indian Creek Country Club on the small, exclusive island of Indian Creek, we knew it had to be our wedding site. The grounds are stunning yet intimate and definitely had the “wow factor” we were looking for.
Leslie’s Dress Search
No one believes me but I tried on one dress! It was the first dress and I knew it was the one. Having worked almost my entire life in the fashion industry, I knew I wanted a spectacular, “statement” dress that was unique from any other I had ever seen. My dress happened to be a sample that a representative from Rivini was travelling with and, as luck would have it, he happened to be in the boutique the day I came in. If I had come in a day earlier or later, I never would have seen it. I saw it and was immediately blown away. I tried it on and ordered it that day on the spot.
How Leslie Felt in Her Wedding Dress
Gorgeous, unique and comfortable.
Why Leslie Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
We live between the U.S. and Argentina now and are constantly on the go, so quite honestly we just don’t have the space to store it. Otherwise I would have loved to keep it.
