Glitz, glamor, crystals and flowers…Leigh + Marc’s Philadelphia wedding at the luxurious Loews Hotel was a grand event! No detail was spared, making this wedding a delight to the senses: including soft blue up-lighting, exquisite white flower arrangements, tons of crystals and satiny fabrics and my favorite, Leigh’s Monique Lhuillier gown called ‘Candy’. The embroidery and light as air tulle combined with the bride’s jeweled crystal belt makes for the perfect focal point for this truly opulent affair. Enjoy!

The Ceremony
The ceremony was located in the main ballroom of the Loews Hotel. We chose an extra wide aisle to give a more dramatic feel to the room. The space was lit in shades of blue and the aisle was filled with flowers and crystal centerpieces. Unique chairs lined the center of the aisle to create a border to the room. We had a typical Jewish ceremony with a white draped over-sized chuppah at the front of the space. We added an extra 5 feet to the height of the chuppah to add to the dramatic feel of the room. Both my parents walked me down the aisle while the bridal party surrounded the stage we were married on. All the flowers were done in white with touches of pink to bring a little pop of color to the already gorgeous aisle.
The Reception
The reception was also held at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia. We fell in love with the space the minute we saw it. It had huge floor to ceiling windows with insanely high ceilings. You could do so much with the space. We decorated the room with pinks, blues and silvers. We wanted to create a fairytale like space filled with lots of glitz and glamor.
Leigh’s Dress Search
When I first started dress shopping I was sure I wanted to wear an all lace dress. I knew I wanted Monique Lhuillier but only brought pictures of mermaid and lace styles. I decided to try every style on just to make sure and the minute I put the dress on I knew right away. Everything about it was perfect and it was all I never even knew I wanted.
How Leigh Felt in Her Wedding Dress
Glamorous. Beautiful. Like a real bride.
Why Leigh Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
To me it was such a unique and special dress that I wanted someone else to feel as amazing in it as I did.
