Today’s Real Wedding is bursting with inspiration. From the dramatic gown to the lush florals to the gorgeous naked cake there is romance and glamor everywhere. We love the pretty courtyard setting for the ceremony and the grand ballroom for the reception. Perfect lighting and personal touches and a radiant couple made this affair one to remember.

The Ceremony:
The ceremony took place outside, in the courtyard at the Liberty Grand. It was very romantic and intimate. We wanted to ensure that the ceremony was customized to fit our relationship and was unique from other ceremonies. We worked with an officiant who had us fill out a 25 page questionnaire and then wrote out a customized wedding ceremony to fit our personalities and incorporate all of our feelings about the love we share.
The theme of the wedding was “vintage glam” and this was represented in the ceremony. With white chiavari chairs and eclectic floral arrangements, the ceremony magical. Two massive floral arrangements framed the alter, with medium sized arrangements at the end of the aisle. The pathway to the alter was decorated with gorgeous rose arrangements tied to the chiavari chairs. I am a huge lover of details, and I wanted some fun stationary for the ceremony. We had customized programs that acted as fans for the guests. I also had some of my close friends hand out “yay” signs to the guests prior to my arrival. They acted as great photo props and were a cute detail that got the guests talking. We also had a string quartet playing for the ceremony that added to the romantic feel.
The Reception:
The reception was absolutely gorgeous. I wanted to guests to have a great time at the wedding, so I always kept them in mind when making decisions. When the guests arrived into the cocktail area they were greeted with our customized drinks “The Forchetti Fizz” and “The Russell Royale”, along with numerous h’ordeurves for them to enjoy. We had a piano player for entertainment, and plenty of seating for them to relax and enjoy a cocktail.
We also had some surprises for the guests during the reception. At one point, we played an old super 8 video of my parents wedding. It was very touching since there were family members in the video that are no longer with us today. I loved watching the reactions of the guests when they saw themselves on screen from years ago. Later into the evening, for entertainment, we had a photo booth for our guests to use, along with a bongo player who added to the party feel.
Jennifer’s Dress Search:
I knew from the beginning that I wanted a fit and flare style dress. I am short and petite, so I knew that this would be the style that would compliment my body type.
How She Felt In Her Wedding Dress:
Elegant, Romantic, Glowing
Why She Decided To Sell Her Wedding Dress:
Looking at wedding dresses for months I realized how expensive designer dresses are. I am hoping that I can make another bride’s dream come true to buy a designer dress for a reasonable price.
