For Kristina and Peter, their wedding day was all about romance…and fun! Their navy blue and white wedding featured some classic wedding mainstays: lots of live music including an eight-piece band, a large bridal party decked out in black tie attire and a ballroom reception. Kristina’s Amsale wedding gown was perfectly suited for the wedding theme and venue, as she went with a tulle ballgown dotted with glitzy rhinestones and crystals. She looked every bit a princess.

The Ceremony
We had a harpist, 10 bridesmaids and eight groomsmen. Our wedding ceremony took place outdoors on the patio overlooking the treetops, we stood underneath beautiful branches with white cascading lilies and jasmine. The aisle was decorated with different sized floating candles. We wanted the ceremony to feel ethereal and romantic.
The Reception
We wanted the reception to feel elegant and fun and think we did so with an eight-piece band with incredible food! The centerpieces were a mix of enormous blue and white hydrangea. They were larger than life! We chose Fresh Meadow because my parents are members there and we spend our family holidays there. The patio where we had the reception overlooks the treetops and all you can see is green. It was a perfect day! I felt very calm and excited — we were happy just to be standing in front of everyone we know and love and declare our love for each other!

I tried on about five dresses. I saw my dress on a mannequin at Saks Fifth Avenue and knew immediately that it was perfect.
