Ocean view, modern glamor and a figure flattering Christos, Scarlett wedding gown…Kirsten + Chris’ beach front wedding in San Diego was breathtaking. We love the mod decorative touches like the bold print table runners and matching napkins in grey and white and the eye catching tall glass vases topped with white hydrangeas and just a pop of purple and light green. Don’t miss the really cool wood bow ties for the groom and groomsmen or the amazing photo montage of Kirsten + Chris cliff jumping into the ocean in their formal wear, wedding dress and all! But not to worry, Kirsten spared her Christos gown for the big leap into the water (she’s wearing a stand-in). Wild!

The Ceremony + Reception
Chris and I have been friends since high school, but we didn’t fall for each other until June 2012 when a group of friends took a trip to Las Vegas to see the worlds best DJ’s at the Electric Daisy Carnival. I’m also blessed to have had the most perfect proposal on the beach in Costa Rica and then the perfect wedding on the beach in San Diego with my love of my life! We were married on October 11th, 2014 at La Jolla Shores Hotel, in San Diego, California. We had a beach ceremony with a flamenco guitarist, then a garden cocktail hour. Followed by a warm open patio with string lights.
Kirsten’s Dress Search
For my dress search I visited six stores in six months and I must have tried on about fifteen dresses. In the end I chose my Christos, Scarlett wedding gown because it was so flattering and comfortable. I felt absolutely beautiful. Curves and all…It was the perfect fit for my lady lumps. I love this dress!
