The Ceremony
We had our ceremony in Wayferer’s Chapel. This chapel has beautiful grounds and incredible architecture along with the backdrop of the ocean. It was the perfect setting for our indoor (but still outdoor) ceremony.
The Reception
Our reception was at a private estate in Rancho Palos Verdes. It was small but cozy and intimate, with only family and our closest friends. We had an amazing live acoustic band, fantastic dinner and some heartfelt speeches. It was short but exactly the atmosphere and style that we wanted for our big day.
Katie’s Dress Search
I really liked and tried on a few Hayley Paige dresses, but these days they are so popular! So I decided that I would look for something unique. When I first saw my wedding dress I understood that ‘this is my dress!’. It has the same “flower” shape skirt that I love about Hayley Paige gowns but the textures of my dress are so beautiful and unique, complete with ivory striped gazar. I received so many compliments!

I am sad to give it up, but I know that the dress will just end up being stored away…so I decided to let someone else spend one of the best days of their life in this gown just like I did. Rosa Clara is a widely recognized designer and I was lucky that her prices are reasonable. I received many compliments from guests who thought my gown was stunningly beautiful and unique! The striped detail with ivory and white is truly breathtaking and the tiered layers are very flattering. I thank God every single day that I found the perfect, most beautiful dress to remember forever!
