Katie + Jason’s interfaith wedding was fresh, bright and completely charming. I love that Katie admits, after trying on three mermaid style gowns, that she “gave-in” to her childhood fantasy of wearing a ball gown. And what a perfect gown to fall in love with?! An Anne Barge, complete with an Alencon lace bodice, a champagne ribbon detail at the waist extending into a full asymmetrical layered tulle skirt with horsehair trim and Alencon lace appliques. Don’t miss the stunning array of fresh white rose decor throughout the ceremony and reception or all twenty-two very photogenic members of Katie + Jason’s wedding party. Enjoy!

The Ceremony
Our ceremony was held on a cliff over looking the ocean. Since we had an interfaith wedding, the cliff was located on the property of St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church. We had 200 guests seated facing the spectacular ocean view. We were married by a Catholic priest and a Jewish Rabbi under a gorgeous chuppah while incorporating both catholic and Jewish traditions.
The Reception
Our party continued at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott in Dana Point, CA, which is also located on a cliff overlooking the ocean. We started with an outdoor cocktail hour gazing at the pool and ocean. During the cocktail hour, we had our DJ play the electric violin to entertain guests while the last minute preparations were made in the ballroom. Our reception was located in the main ballroom. With purple up lighting flooding the room, our guests were seated at tables of 10 with a beautiful centerpiece of manzanita branches and white flower balls made of roses. We had 4 serving stations including, grouper fish tacos, prime rib, pasta, and a clam chowder bar. Our guests ate, drank, and danced all night!!
Katie’s Dress Search
When I originally started my wedding dress search, I wanted a mermaid gown. I tried on about 3 mermaid styles before I gave into my childhood fantasy of wearing a ball gown. The second I saw my dress I knew it was the one. I never wanted to take it off!

Why Katie Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
I decided to sell my wedding dress because it brought me so much joy and I want another bride to feel as happy and beautiful as I did on my wedding day. I know this particular design is a little pricy, so I want to give someone else a chance to experience the magic this dress can bring to her big day.
