Natural beauty and rustic charm…Katelyn + Thomas’ wedding in the heart of the Colorado Mountains looks like absolute heaven. The pictures of this couple tying the knot amidst wild flowers and a majestic mountain scape at a venue called the Ten Mile Station…is just gorgeous. And so fitting that Katelyn’s Claire Pettibone gown, Devotion is from the Earthly Paradise Collection. Claire’s bridal style is so romantic and natural, I’m in love with her soft low swept up-do that perfectly compliments Devotion’s pretty guipure vine straps. Enjoy!
The Ceremony + Reception Getting away to Breckenridge for our wedding weekend was everything we’ve ever wanted. Our family and friends all enjoyed the nice weather and atmosphere of being in the Colorado Mountains. We had a pretty big group of people coming from all over the country so it was great to be in a small town where everyone could be together. Ten Mile Station was a perfect place for our wedding because of it’s natural beauty and rustic feel. The ceremony was located on the patio on the edge of Peak 9 while the reception was just steps away. We were married August 31st, 2013.
Katelyn’s Dress Search I started my search with an open back dress in mind. I knew I wanted lace and something unique. I bought one dress originally thinking it was the one and when I saw Claire Pettibone’s dresses I fell in love. I knew I had to have it. I went with my gut and bought the Claire Pettibone. Best decision of my life.
How Katelyn Felt in Her Wedding Dress I felt like a goddess, beautiful and natural
