This Clarie Pettibone gown from the Earthly Paradise Collection is a splendid reflection of Jennifer + Ryan’s elegant, sweet and down-to-earth wedding in Keswick, Virginia. Such artful lace detailing on the back…I love how the floral lace straps are so beautifully displayed between Jennifer’s delicate shoulder blades. Just lovely. Don’t miss the pretty and playful poppy red bridesmaid dresses with criss-crossed spaghetti straps or the hints of red gerbera daisies throughout the florals to perfectly play off the ladies gowns. Enjoy!

Ceremony
Our ceremony took place at the UVA Chapel – built in 1885.
The Reception
Our reception was held at Castle Hill Cider. Originally built in 1764, Castle Hill Cider was the home of Colonel Thomas Walker, guardian and mentor to Thomas Jefferson. A newly constructed barn was added to the estate in 2011, which is where our reception was held.
Jennifer’s Dress Search
I really had no idea at all on the entire wedding dress process (time, etc.) — but I knew I wanted something that was lightweight and delicate, empire waist, with straps and included lace. I ended up with a dress that was far better than I ever anticipated. When I first tried on a Claire Pettibone dress, I knew I would end up choosing one from her collection. Claire is one of the most talented designers out there and she is very accommodating to her brides! And Kleinfeld Bridal in NYC did everything to make my experience top notch! Kleinfeld felt more like a small boutique to me when it came to service — and everyone at Kleinfeld’s was exceptional – Terry, Ronnie, Meghan M., and Joan — were especially amazing!

Why Jennifer Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
The dress is a beautiful piece of art – Selling it to a bride is a better option and one that will make any bride that doesn’t want to spend the $$$ so incredibly happy!
