This relaxed and romantic California wedding is brimming with inspiration. You can feel the warmth and love of family radiating through the photos. The venue (and weather!) is absolutely perfect, we love how the florals were all created by the bride’s mother, and the dress story could not be sweeter. What a great way to start your Tuesday!

The Ceremony
On the mountainside in Malibu, CA with views of the Saddlerock Ranch vineyard and ocean, a family friend wed us to the words we wrote for the ceremony. I wrote the song I walked down the aisle to with my father. Girls wore floral long dresses of their choice and boys wore navy suits with handmade leather bow ties and suspenders made by the groom.
The Reception
Outdoors with a beautiful log cabin in the background, string lights everywhere. A beautiful cocktail hour watching the sun go down and guests described the night as “magical” as we all danced the night away under the stars and string lights.
Jennifer’s Wedding Dress Search
I went to 4-5 stores with my mother and father. I tried on at least 5 dresses at each. My mother picked the last dress at Dreamers and Lovers and gave it to the employee to give me to try on. It was the one. Long lace train, open back, unique long sleeves, hugged my figure, and stretchy for easy dancing. Mom knows best!
