The Ceremony
Matt and I were married on June 1, 2013, in Oxford, Mississippi. I attended the University of Mississippi and fell in love with the town of Oxford. It’s historical, southern charm and beautiful town square makes it the perfect place to get married. We exchanged vows at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 6:00 in the evening. The modern church is beautiful and contains many unique, ornate features. I attended this church during my years at Ole Miss so it was very special to me.
The Reception
Our reception was held at The Lyric, a chic venue on the square in Oxford. The historic building, originally a movie theater, was recently renovated to hold special events and receptions. The venue has an open-floor plan with a modern, upscale appearance.
