Ivory Colored Wedding Dress for My Second Marriage
My fiance and I are in our late 50’s and plan on being married next month. This will be a second marriage for both of us.
We are having a small (<50 people) and simple afternoon ceremony at our church with a champagne reception back at our house. I have found a great ivory-colored dress that is designed to replicate a 1912 “tea dress” with simple embroidery.
I am feeling a little conflicted about wearing the ivory color now and am seriously thinking of using a tea dye to make the dress a little darker in color. However if it doesn’t come out right I will have ruined the dress!
Although I look considerably younger than my years I want to dress “age appropriately”.
Any thoughts?
