Growing up on an island, the song and pull of the sea is never too far away and has always been a huge influence on my perception of this land. It’s a scene that is forever changing with inky blues and muted greens rushing up to meet the spring fields and stoic stone walls of the Irish coastline. Perched at the cliffside looking out into the celtic sea in County Waterford, it’s easy to see why a holy well and hermitage was established here in the 5th century by the early Irish saint, St Declan. There is a sense of energy and mysticism in the air that speaks of renewal and I hoped to capture all these beautiful elements and allow them to inspire the perfect celebration. Thanks to an amazing team of talented suppliers, the vision came to life and I couldn’t imagine a more romantic place to exchange vows.
