A romantic fall engagement in Salem, MA

Many couples find love through friends, work or travel, but how many can say they met because of a force of nature? Debbie and James met while they were on a hiking expedition in Patagonia; they only interacted a little throughout the trip, but when it came to an end, a huge earthquake destroyed the airport they were supposed to leave from! Huddled under a tent, waiting for a return flight to the U.S., they began to form the foundation of a wonderful relationship. For their engagement session, they met Deborah Zoe Photography at The House of the Seven Gables in Salem. Surrounded by gorgeous autumn leaves and a super cool historic venue, it couldn’t have been more charming!
