Hanan and William are a pair of New Yorkers who had a super cool first look for their spring wedding. I mean cool literally, too; William works at his family ice business, Chilly Willy and Cool Carl’s Ice, and the couple decided to have their high fashion first look session in one of the chilly ice distributation warehouses that supplies the business. Love it! The photos let off enough heat to melt all that ice, helped in no small part by Hanan’s super sexy YSA Makino gown. Can’t you feel the electricity between this gorgeous couple?

The Ceremony
Prior to the ceremony we had a first look at my husband’s family’s company, the ice distributor Artic Glacier. The business is special to him so we decided that it would be super cool (literally) to see each other there for the first time. We had huge ice sculptures behind us as I nervously but excitedly walked up to meet him in 20 degrees!!
As for the ceremony, we arrived in an antique princess Rolls Royce from Top Class Limo, which fit our vintage glam theme. Our outdoor garden ceremony at The CV Rich Mansion was adorned with beautiful blush pinks and diamond whites. The garden at the mansion is beautifully landscaped without any decor so we only added some of our flowers to the aisle and sprinkled petals on the ground. Our makeshift altar was decorated with a cross made out of the same flowers. Our pastor and friend, Johnny, married us. We are both devoted Christians so having him marry us was truly a blessing.
The Reception
The reception took place in the ballroom with a vintage glam feel. High and low center pieces featured vintage blush pinks, peaches, and white. We chose the mansion because we wanted something a little more unique than the typical banquet hall! We also loved the idea of having our ceremony and reception all at one place. The guests were not secluded to one room as they would be in a catering hall, but were able to visit the various beautifully decorated rooms of the mansion in addition to the ballroom. Butlers circulated serving champagne and hors d’oeuvres like mini sliders, coconut shrimp and several others, as well as Japanese and Italian stations.
For the reception, our first dance was to Staind “Tangled Up in You.” This has always been ‘our song’. My father and I danced to Tim McGraw’s “My Little Girl” and my husband and his mother danced to “The Man You’ve Become” by Molly Pasutti. The reception featured a mix of both traditional middle eastern music and contemporary pop music. The guests were offered a chicken, filet mignon, and salmon dish. For dessert we served our wedding cake which offered two choices of red velvet and Sicilian pistachio. Butlers also passed cheesecake cake pops!
Hanan’s Dress Search
I started my search wanting a lace mermaid gown to fit my vintage ideas for the wedding. After trying on just a few dresses, I fell in love with a Stephen Yearick dress that was adorned with Swarovski crystals and pearls, but still had a vintage feel 🙂
How Hanan Felt in Her Wedding Dress
Stunning, classic, glamorous
Why Hanan Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
It is such a stunning piece that I would hate to keep it in a box. It is a one of a kind that should be passed on to another beautiful bride who I know will feel just as special as I did on my wedding day.
