From Natalie, the event designer:
This shoot was designed to explore the joining of masculine elements with feminine details by pairing soft textures with clean lines. I envisioned an inspiration for the non-tradional bride who wants something a little bold; something a little moody romantic without being overly feminine.
We styled our model to offer several options: a minimalist bridal jumpsuit, and gowns with more flowy silhouettes. The structured jumpsuit borrowed masculine elements in its design. While the soft material of the dresses portrayed a movement reflective of femininity. Modern jewelry complimented all outfits, and included a unique geometric engagement ring and crown-inspired wedding band. Our model’s bold makeup look and tousled hair were balanced by her delicate bouquet (which included sweet pea, hellebores, and textural elements). For the table, a neutral color palette of beige and mauve was used. This was paired with a wealth of textures: velvet linens, a soft gauze table runner, ombre glass tumblers, and matte dinner plates paired with rose gold flatware. The wild floral arrangement was the focal point of our tablescape, and featured dried elements and bold shapes. Enjoy!
