Set in New Orleans, these enchanting bridal portraits capture all the beauty of a soon-to-be bride from an artistic viewpoint.

“Arriving in New Orleans, we stepped out into the streets and felt that notorious southern humidity soaked into our skin. We heard the melody from a distant saxophone. The city was alive, and our senses were wide awake in this familiar place.
We wound through the crowded streets seeking shelter from the summer sun, and dipped into an old shoppe, adorned with a cat on the doorstep, seemingly hired to lure us in. Perusing the floral selections, I decided to snag a few blooms to add to the foraged elements I clipped from my mother’s garden back home.
Two coffees, a plate of beignets and a short while later, we found ourselves in front of the most hauntingly beautiful monuments in one of the oldest cemeteries in New Orleans. It was here that I met Katie Grant, one of my absolute favorite creatives in the industry. This gal exudes talent and does so quite effortlessly. She captured these beautiful images as our model, Brooke, sauntered through the tombstones. It appeared that we were witnessing an angel floating through the dilapidated stones, with her quiet footsteps and flowing silk chasing behind.
The weathered textures of the cemetery were mimicked in the patina of the wood on the Opera House, which set a most stunning backdrop for our bride. As the sun began its descent, the golden hour set in, and the bronze tones on Brooke’s skin shimmered in the light. Endless silk trailed behind the moody-toned bouquet in the last frames as Katie captured Brooke tiptoeing across the weathered streets of the enchanting city.”
