The Ceremony
Both the ceremony and reception were held at the State Room, one of Boston’s top wedding venues with an AMAZING view of the city. We met in Boston when I was visiting a friend and it was the city where we fell in love, built so many memories, and had our daughter, so it is very much is a big part of our relationship. The friend I was visiting ended up being my maid of honor and her parents performed the ceremony!
The Reception
Our reception was so much fun! I went for an all white theme – white bridesmaid dresses, shades of white for the florals, white programs with rose gold foil stamp accents. Wanted a clean, urban chic look to match the modern venue.
Ella’s Wedding Dress Search
The dress I chose was the VERY first one I tried on! I tried on probably 5 more dresses after it but went back to that one. I said “I don’t want strapless and I don’t want a full skirt so let’s just get that out of the way first.” Of course I ended up picking the strapless ballgown. It made me feel like a princess! One thing I knew is that I wanted a Reem Acra dress – her designs are just stunningly beautiful.

Why She’s Selling Her Wedding Dress
I really wanted a Reem Acra dress but was unable to afford it myself, and was so lucky that my father was so gracious to buy it for me. I think every woman should feel at her most beautiful on her wedding day so I hope that someone else can have their dream designer dress at a reduced price. I actually didn’t know about the website prior to buying my dress – if I had, I probably would have bought one off of the site as well!
