When we think of classic, elegant weddings, many of us immediately think “hotel ballroom.” But Ana and Eric’s wedding, set at the Aman Sveti Resort on the Adriatic Coast of Montenegro, shows us that elegance can be found anywhere.
After meeting online, the couple swiftly discovered not only shared interests, but a passion for changing the world. Ana’s creativity and Eric’s actionable pragmatism complement each other perfectly when working on projects together, and planning their wedding was the perfect example. Ana, born in Montenegro, had always imagined being wed on the windswept Adriatic beaches of Sveti Stefan where she played as a child, but never shared that dream with anyone. The first time Eric laid eyes on the charming seaside hideaway, he felt the same.
The challenge was in bringing their friends and family together, spanning the US, Canada, Europe, and Africa. The couple was blown away when 135 guests made the trip, creating a truly international wedding weekend. Their elegant, flower-filled outdoor ceremony was set against the backdrop of the Adriatic sea, and a beachfront reception beautifully planned by Once Wed vendor Easton Events followed.
