There are so many elements in today’s feature that we fell in love with immediately: the lush florals, the neutral and fresh palette, and this stunning venue. As much as we love outdoor weddings, sometimes, the venue itself needs to be celebrated and pulled into the event design. Designer Joy Proctor and florist Amy Osaba found the perfect ways to accentuate the beautiful Sunstone Wintery. Starting with the neutral color palette pulled from the warm tones of the stone walls, they created garden-inspired floral arrangements and placed them with baskets of fresh bread on a beautifully worn farm table. We’d love to be guests at this feast!
More from the photographer, Sarah Collier:
“Kurt Boomer’s workshop at the breathtaking Sunstone Winery was an incredibly beautiful experience. The design was well thought out and lovingly done, and the atmosphere Kurt created was relaxing and allowed me to experience each moment exactly how Joy Proctor and Amy Osaba’s team designed it to be. His teaching focused on film photography, and getting rid of the digital camera crutch once and for all, so that you can create images that speak from your soul as an artist. This was something I had been working toward and this workshop was the final push I needed. I could not be more happy with my experience there and the images I was able to gain from it. Our real couple for this shoot was a dream to work with, and every photo of them is authentic; something I strive to do in any shoot no matter how styled it is.”
