While outdoor wedding venues are almost always our favorites, we know that it’s just not realistic for a lot of couples. Depending on where you live, the idea of an outdoor wedding might just be impossible, due to less than optimal weather or the threat of bugs. And if you dream of an elegant garden wedding, then there’s no better way to bring the outdoors in than with gorgeous flowers.
This heritage building was transformed into a veritable indoor garden, creating a luscious ceremony setting. Starting with a 25-foot long handpainted marble backdrop and aisle runner, the fresh foliage was added in a way that feels as though it’s growing up and around the couple. This backdrop brings the eye into the couple, and by keeping the rest of the space minimal (clear acrylic chairs, just a few candles, and floral accents), the ceremony space becomes an elegant place for the couple to say their vows at.
