The ceremony
We had an outdoor ceremony located at the Highlands Country Club. It was on the green of the 9th hole, aligned with the tree line. We had a brass quintet. Our ceremony was non-denominational with an ordained minister and we made it as creative and personal as possible.
The reception
Our reception was an elegant affair with a touch of modern and traditional elements. It was held in a turn of the century ballroom with a gorgeous chandelier in the middle of the room. Artwork by local artists for sale was displayed on the walls. Mahogany floors and oval dining tables lined the room. Cocktail hour was held on the patio with tables stretched onto the lawn in the back of the country club.
Dora’s dress search
I originally wanted a ball gown with natural waist. I did end up changing the style from natural to dropped waist because it flattered my body more and just looked better on me. It was the fourth dress I tried on and the first that I really liked.

Sharp, elegant, enchanting
Why she decided to sell her wedding dress
I know that styles change, and I am keeping the veil as a token. I want someone else to share in this fabulous dress and its classiness.
