Following a very traditional Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony, Donna and Peter cut loose at their wedding reception along with their guests. Very little suits a high ballroom ceiling better than dramatic towering centrepieces; in this case exploding with feathers and roses and dripping with pearls. The apricot and peach palette complements the blushing bride, and the party looked like a killer way to end an amazing day!

The Ceremony
It was a beautiful Greek Orthodox ceremony consisting of many old traditions that have beautiful symbols behind them. The crowning is one of the many beautiful symbolic traditions and is symbolic of husband and wife being joined eternally.
The Reception
We had a Greek and Italian reception with lots of dancing, money in the air and drinks flying in celebration! It was beautiful and a true celebration. The pictures say it all! We had a blast and the dance floor was packed the entire night!
Donna’s Dress Search
I am a fashion designer but was trying to avoid the stress of designing my own dress. I probably tried on 30 dresses from Kleinfelds to RK Bridal and I was starting to get worried I would never find a dress. When I went to Bridal Reflections and tried on the Ines Di Santo I was finally feeling what every bride should! I loved every detail and finally felt happy in a dress!
How Donna Felt in Her Wedding Dress
Beautiful, elegant, radiant.
Why Donna Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
I actually never thought I would sell my dress, but when my sister-in-law mentioned to me she was thinking of selling hers I thought to myself, “why would I keep this?” Someone could wear it and I definitely do not plan on wearing it again, haha! The chances of my daughter wanting it one day are slim to none. If my daughter loves the pictures of my wedding dress one day then we can just make her one that looks like it, lol. Honestly, I would rather have someone get use out of it and for it not to be wasted.
