Dina dreamed of a big, romantic wedding celebrating the love that she and Jason share, and the families that share in their happiness. The result was an elegant, old-school wedding and reception, filled with glamorous details. At the reception, soft ambient lighting and a subtle pink and gold color scheme created a scene that was dream-like. Throughout the whole affair, Dina looked absolutely stunning in her classic Amsale dress. Congratulations to Dina and Jason, as they embark on what is sure to be a lifetime of joy and happiness!
Dina + Jason | August 8, 2012 | Renassiance Hotel, Cleveland, Ohio
I met Jason five years ago and when we were planning our wedding I kept thinking what makes us us?? I felt every couple had a “thing” that made them stand out. We are both VERY Italian, with big giant families so eventually we decided that was it! We would have an ultra luxurious, romantic Italian ceremony followed with a super luxurious reception in a glamorous iconic hotel.
The ceremony
Our ceremony took place at a romantic church and included music from a local children’s choir called the Singing Angels. The aisle lined with our flowers that later turned into our centerpieces made for a grand entrance.
The reception
Our reception was held in the Gold Ballroom at the Cleveland Renaissance Hotel. Our color theme was soft pinks and tasteful golds, accented with crisp white for a modern feel.
Dina’s dress search
The first thing I did before putting all the details together was go out and find that perfect dress. I wanted something lush, full and with big flowers all over the skirt. I loved the idea of feeling feminine and yet bold and beautiful at the same time. It was the first dress I put on! I steered clear of it right away because of the heavy price tag. I searched for a good “look alike” dress, but nothing measured up to that “first” dress. After much debate I went back and purchased my DREAM DRESS!

Why Dina decided to sell her wedding dress
I know there is someone else out there searching for that perfect “look alike” dress the way that I was, when they truly deserve the dress of their dreams. Now she can get it for a reasonable price. I wanted to sell my dress because I hate for a “work of art” (thats literally how other described the day of) to sit put away. I will never forget how my dress made me feel and that’s what I will hold on to forever.
