A faint whisper, a memory of once was that glimmers in the back of one’s mind–this was the unfolding of the story that brought us to the beautiful Trinity Institute in Tehuacana, TX. The worn, natural beauty of the landscape and interiors set the ideal scene for our story. Highlighting the pre-existing structures and character of the building paved the path of mixing delicate, simplistic elements with more structured and raw ones. We wanted to tell a story of a minimal, intimate and lovely gathering, and did so using loosely arranged florals in various shades of green, peach, purple and cream in mixed brass and silver vessels, accompanied by an assortment of brass candlesticks.
The incorporation of grey transfer ware, vintage silver flatware and pressed glass goblets allowed the tablescape to remain luxurious yet simplistic and inviting. The bride wore gowns by Monique Lhuillier, and was adorned with a crown and bouquets comprised of hellebores, jasmine, lisianthus poppies, andromeda and fritillaria. The conclusion of the day allowed us to reminisce and reflect on a story that had been told of what once was, and the beauty that it encompassed.
