There is something so romantic and magical about an evening wedding ceremony and reception…and on a night in November, guests are filled with cozy, warm feelings mixed with excitement for a night of elegance at the Ritz Carlton in downtown Boston. How fun! Courtney’s Carolina Herrera gown, Jenny is such a perfect style for a November wedding, with it’s heart-shape illusion neckline, decadent lace and scalloped short sleeves. In the words of today’s featured bride, this dress “Exudes sophistication while flattering every curve.” You are so right Courtney!

The Ceremony
We had an evening ceremony held in a gorgeous historic church in Boston, just on the corner of the Boston Public Gardens. Blue Tiffany stained glass windows gave the white interior of the church a mystical, warm feeling on a cold November night.
The Reception
Our reception took place at the Ritz Carlton Boston Common. The night was magical, from divine food, hours of dancing and a photo booth with handmade props. The reception had to be extended, as guests just weren’t ready to stop dancing. The folks with true endurance met afterwards in the Avery bar for cocktails and snacks.
Courtney’s Dress Search
I knew I wanted some sort of capped sleeve or short sleeve dress, fitted but not too tight, also lace was a must. It was exactly what I had envisioned.
How Courtney Felt in Her Wedding Dress
Elegant, beautiful, HAPPY!
Why Courtney Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
I love my dress so much. From the moment I first tried it on in the bridal boutique until I finally had to take it off after the reception; true love. It would be a waste to have such a beautiful piece art held in a box for years upon years. That dress deserves better. It deserves another bride to fall in love with it and never want to take it off either. I was so happy in that dress, I want to share that with someone else.
