Tucked away in the Colorado mountains, Christine + Jeff tied the knot in the quaint ski village of Vail where they fell in love. As Christine describes, ‘Keeping with a Winter Wonderland feel, we used simple features and really focused on the natural elements with formal touches.’ I love that! The rustic, exposed wood beam craftsman architecture of the couple’s chapel ceremony and ski lodge reception venue are a really neat contrast to Christine’s Kenneth Pool gown…like fresh, untouched layers of inviting powder snow sitting a top the tips of the Rockies. Heavenly!

The Ceremony
We met at Colorado State University and both knew we were a great match with our combined love for the outdoors. After several years of skiing and falling in love in Vail we couldn’t think of a better place to get married! The Ceremony couldn’t have been more perfect! Nestled in the mountains of Vail, tucked away in the Village there lies a little chapel called Vail Interfaith Chapel. With sounds from Gore Creek aside the chapel you can hear the waters and just feel at ease. It’s a charming mountain-y feel that was so special as it felt so “us”.
The Reception
Our Reception was at one of most beautiful venues held in Vail Village. You felt like you had your own custom lodge without the hassle of getting up and down the mountain as it was in town! Keeping with a Winter Wonderland feel, we used simple features and really focused on the natural elements with formal touches. Music, dancing and family were truly the highlight on the most special day of our lives.
Christine’s Dress Search
Searching for my dress was fun and frustrating at the same time. I knew I wanted a long engagement and that we were getting married in the mountains. But when I went shopping I didn’t see anything that was really meant for me. In the end, I found my dress featured on a television show about wedding dresses and thought, that’s my dress! But to get the dress, I went out of state to purchase it. I didn’t think I would get emotional but when I tried it on, I knew it was the one. Even my step dad who walked me down the aisle started crying, it was a very special moment and I will never forget it. I knew it was meant to be when the dress was cohesive with my grandmother’s vintage wedding ring, which I wore on my right hand the day of my wedding (she’s my best friend!).

Why Christine Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
This dress made me feel special in a way that I can’t really describe, only to say I’ve never felt like that before and perhaps never will again, which is why this dress deserves to be worn again and why I’ve chosen to sell my glorious gown.
