One look at Christina and I find myself wondering – yes there likely could be a Wedding Super Hero and here she is in vanilla silk taffeta! And if you, like me were also thinking, it’s as if this dress was MADE for Christina, well you are correct…in fact this is a one-of-a-kind creation by Ines Di Santo. Christina explains: ‘I had the pleasure of meeting the designer in La Jolla, California and had her create an elegant sexy combination of the Enya and Sandrine dresses. I have the original drawing signed – a copy can be sent to you!’ Yep, some very lucky gal is going to find her dream dress today, I can just feel it. Thank you for sharing Christina, you look out of this world!
Christina + Zachary | June 23 2012 | La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla, CA
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place in the garden at the well renowned historic hotel La Valencia in La Jolla, California. The ceremony consisted of our closest friends and family over looking the Pacific Ocean. We released over 20 beautiful doves during our ceremony. It was intimate, romantic, religious and was overwhelmed with tears of joy and laughter. My father walked me down from my garden suite to meet my groom waiting on the perfect day in June. The flowers on our canopy consisted of a lush romantic arrangement of blush and ivory roses, soft blush and champagne tones of delicate peonies and ivory hydrangea flowers.
The Reception
The theme of my wedding was vintage chic meets Italian glamor in a timeless romantic feel. The reception was in the ballroom where there were gold and silver royal furniture throughout the room. There were high and low floral arrangements on every table in gold candelabras filled with small ivory ostrich feather and rhinestone brooch accents. My colors were blush, ivory, champagne with hints of gold and eggplant. The table names were named after Italian cities. The guests enjoyed filet mignon, local sea bass; signature drinks and danced the night away!
Christina’s Dress Search
I always wanted a form fitting dress that spoke volumes. I knew from the beginning that I wanted an Ines Di Santo dress because they are timeless, romantic, but are very fashion forward. I tried on about 5 dresses and thankfully Ines Di Santo, the designer herself was at M Bride, the bridal store during my visit. She drew the sketch of the two dresses I admired, the Enya and Sandrine as the dress for my big day. I was speechless when I saw the beautiful silk Vanilla Taffeta covered in Swarovski crystals the first time I saw my dress. I felt like a princess.

Why Christina Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
I loved my dress, but it is too beautiful and perfect to not bring the happiness I felt on my wedding day to someone else. I can have it sit in my closet, but there is no telling when it will be seen again. I want to give this dress the attention it deserves. It was an ultimate showstopper, talk of the night, and the months pre and post. I felt like a million bucks, and this dress still has some heads to turn!
