Cheline + Eugene | Monique Lhuillier Wedding from Penny Dinn Photography

With friends and family gathered from all around the globe, Cheline + Eugene tied the knot in Kauai, Hawaii amidst palm trees and a lush green scape.  This Monique Lhuillier gown called ‘Scarlet’ looks  gorgeous on today’s featured bride…such a stunning silhouette with the most sleek and flattering open back with a Queen Ann neckline and capped sleeves.  Truly, this dress was made for Cheline.  Don’t miss the very fresh and inviting reception decor complete with rattan seating, bohemian-style lanterns and bright orange table fabrics contrasted with pops of white and yellow floral arrangements.  Enjoy!

The Ceremony
Our ceremony was a gathering of friends and families from all over the world on the Lower Lawn of Club Kukui’ula with direct views of the Spouting Horn by the sea.

The Reception
The party continued under the Pavilion at Club Kukui’ula with cocktail tables and chairs set up outside under the stars.

Cheline’s Dress Search
I knew I didn’t want a strapless princess dress and I have always been attracted to lace dresses. It took me a while to find the perfect lace pattern for the dress. I also love dresses with intriguing backs.  I had first tried on the Monique Lhuillier Ingrid dress, but I fell in love with the back of the Scarlet dress as soon as I put it on. The Scarlet dress is so easy to wear and extremely flattering to all body shapes. The only issue I had with the Scarlet dress was how low it dipped in the front, which I easily altered with the help of my extremely talented wedding dress tailor!

Why Cheline Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
I live in a “cozy” place with my husband and we just don’t have the space to store items we don’t use on a regular basis.
