No detail was overlooked at this pretty country club wedding. We love the lush florals, classic color palette and stunning venue. Charming’s Oscar de la Renta was perfectly suited for the occasion. And the event was captured beautifully by Mary Ann Art & Photography.

The Ceremony
It was a East meets West cultural wedding. We had our traditional Chinese tea ceremony in the morning with our relatives after the bride got picked up by the groom and his groomsmen team. Then we had another tea ceremony for the groom’s side of family before the exchange of vow in an open area at the country club.
The Reception
It was a western buffet dinner at an open space – it is a party on the grass. We wanted a cozy and fun reception where guests are free to dance around and we as the newly wed couple could go around to greet our family and friends freely.
Charming’s Wedding Dress Search
Surprisingly, I only tried out less than 6 and I had my mine set on this Oscar de la Renta gown quick yet firmly. I always knew I want something classy and nothing speaks classy better than a trumpet gown inspired by the 50s. I especially love the ruffled yet structured back of this Caroline gown where it is so elegance and COMFORTABLE. Yes you heard me right, this gown is so comfy because of is is made of a trademarked Mikado fabric that stretches out yet giving you the enough support. I cannot say how elegant and ladylike I feel after I put this gown on.

Why She’s Selling Her Wedding Dress
I know it sounds old but I do want to pass on the tradition of love and luck to the next bride. What is a better way than passing the dress on?
